3-bed, 3-bath getaway in the heart of Louisville, KY! We are centrally located to all that downtown has to offer. Great food and drinks await in the nearby trendy neighborhoods of Nulu, Butchertown and the Highlands. We are 2 miles from the Yum Center, and 10 minutes from Churchill Downs. Quick access to I-64 & I-65.
The space
Our home features 3 bedrooms and 3 full baths (2 queen beds w/private bathrooms and 1 full size bed with an additional hall bath) plus a pull-out sofa in the spacious living room. The modern kitchen includes a dining area and stocked coffee bar, and there is also a washer & dryer. The backyard retreat has additional hangout and dining space, and the driveway has parking space for 3 cars.

Guests have access to the entire property. Self check-in with smart lock.
Other things to note
Right next door our friends at Pizza Lupo serve up some of the best pizza in the city, and you can walk around the corner to Vernon Lanes for some bowling fun. Lou City soccer stadium is also within walking distance, as well as many of the coffee shops, restaurants and bars in Clifton and Butchertown.

Welcome to Louisville, KY! We are born and raised in the area and love sharing our home-town with guests. There are so many fun things to do in the city and surrounding area, and the Urban Retreat is centrally located so you can enjoy them all.
We love attending Lou City soccer matches and the stadium is within walking distance or a short drive. There is no shortage of great restaurants nearby and we'd be happy to make recommendations - like one of our favorites La Bodeguita de Mima. Our family also enjoys all the festivities surrounding Derby, like the hot air balloon launch and Thunder Over Louisville fireworks show, as well as many year-round family attractions like the Louisville Slugger Museum or Science Center.
If you are into bourbon or beer, we can point you to our favorite local breweries and distilleries. And of course you can jump right on the interstate from the house to get to the iconic distilleries of the Bourbon Trail.

Wonderful stay, convenient (3min) to our family wedding. Easy access to interstate yet quiet and tucked away. Everyone was wowed with the place. Linens were lush and comfy. Coffee bar stocked and loaded !! Loved the New Urban Retreat. We had a short visit but will definitely revisit and take full use of the outdoor amenities. Thank you Brandon. 5 STARS!!!!

I’m not sure where to begin expressing how fantastic Brandon’s place was! It was impeccably clean, incredibly comfortable, and exuded a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Brandon’s attention to detail truly made our stay special. During our visit for my birthday celebration, Brandon provided an excellent list of activities and dining options, and the birthday decorations were a delightful touch! Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the house was stocked with everything we could possibly need. Brandon was extremely attentive, ensuring that all of our questions were answered and that we had a fantastic time. Not a single member of our group had any complaints, only heaps of praise. Brandon’s place will undoubtedly be our top choice when we return to Louisville!
